Theft of the Virgin Mary

Dear Resident

On or around the 22nd Feb the Virgin Mary Statue has been stolen from the grotto at the front of St Marys Church on Whalley Road.  This seems a strange item to be the target of a theft albeit an expensive item to replace so I'm wondering if it's a bit of a prank gone to far. If anyone saw anything or knows anything about this please do let me know by reply.
